Root [Kernel][OC] rb3 Kernel for Warp LTE

Thank you ZTE for giving us a perfect kernel source. It's on my github and I compiled with linaro 4.6.2 using the config.gz from the phone. Not one error, or even a warning. I packed it with the stock ramdisk, and we have performance identical to stock. The source is on my github. Use the w4g_defconfig, and go from there.

Here is a zip if anyone wants to check it out. W4G Test Kernel. You wont gain anything other than piece of mind that development is heading in the right direction with this device.

It's actually on my github as well. The warp4g source is what I'm using as a base for my kernel for the warp4g, source, and awe.

We are working to get a unified kernel source. For the most part its there but the wifi module is HUGE. 35mb, other than that it compiles and boots for all the 8930 devices :D

I'm really looking forward to further development on this phone... The Sequent became a beast and I believe this one can exceed that a great deal :cool:

The suspense is KILLING ME!! :D LMAO

i cant wait! i did a benchmark on the warp 4g it was 13900, which is almost twice as good as my sequent that was overclocked to 1.8ghz. i would love to see what the 1.7 dual core will do

Having issues so far... Single touch on power reboots phone or when screen blacks out, any CPU settings return to one listed above upon reboot.. Pics not loading.. Hmm. About to try stability test next...

CWM cant find the kernal? i download it to the sd card and make sure its not in a folder but it cant find it when i try to install zip from sd. is there something different i have to do?

YES. SD-0 is internal memory. ALL downloads go there no matter what u do w/this phone, even after u set to download into other directories (u may notice 2 Download folders in like the gallery, SD 0 = Internal & SD 1 = external SD storage)... Use a file mgr to move it to SD-1 first before going to recovery (in "storage" folder). Cwm can't read Internal mem...

the kernal is fast and stable as long as i use the phone, as soon as i turn off the screen and set it down it restarts and itll keep restarting as long as my phones at idle. i had to run a restore. but on antutu the stability test matched the stock kernal. and my overall score was somewhere around 17900
