Root [KERNEL] Quattrimus Kernel

FWIW, the latest CM10.1 nightlies are running real smooth for me and much improved battery life over M2 thanks to TDMs WiFi commits
Interesting, because I was seeing the exact opposite. I went back to the 3-21 nightly because everything since seemed to be laggy and jittery.

This kernel (1.3) does seem to improve battery life, though I've had a few reboots after I first loaded it.

where can i find kernel 1.3?

Tried to flash over M3 twice, both times causes bootloops (at the LG logo). Scared the crap out of me the first time, but apparently this phone is nearly un-brickable.

There's a good chance that my phone can't handle the overclock. It gets pretty hot just browsing the web if I leave it at stock CM settings (I usually drop max CPU down to 1188 or so).

I was hoping that this would help the battery life - it has been pretty terrible on CM10.1. On CM10, I could get <5% drop overnight in deep sleep. Now I'm seeing 40-50%.

Oh and in case you aren't aware lg released jb for the su640 and lu6200. Kernel sources are in progress. Additionally there is a hacked up 3.4 kernel for the nitro that looks promising. Not sure what cm plans are but it looks like a new kernel is on the way. I'm hopeful this will resolve some instability issues.

I saw someone linking some files saying that... but the screen shot that they linked was just the zv8 update for us

Tried to get this to work but every time I got a BSOD at boot time after flash.

Tried clearing cache and dalvik 3 times then flash and reboot, tried reboot after BSOD, perhaps bad flash...tried clearing cache and dalvik 3 times and reflash, same result, tried battery pull reboot same result, tried version 1.3 QCC cache dalvik 3 (etc) same result....I flashed again and flashed the 20130325 gapps same result.....ugh

Now....I did flash the CM Tweaked v35 kernel before this one and it works when I come back to it. But for the life of me, I can't get this one to work.

Can't wait till there is another version with BT fixes and maybe I will just blow the whole thing out and then reflash CM10.1 latest nightly and 20130325 gapps and latest quattrimus kernel....

Just updated to the latest nightly and tried to flash again and no dice....BSOD

Still 3.0.8. I haven't had time to get the 3.4 kernel running yet. I'll probably just wait for the official sources since they should be about a week away.

:)

Thanks, this should have all the fixes I've been hand pulling from kernel.org in it then lol. I couldn't get their repos to add correctly.

Hopefully you don't mind if I pull these changes over to merge with the tweaks I've been doing as well :)
