Ok I want to be able to wifi tether and also overclock I'm running cm6 2.2 9/15 nightly and also is it the same process like flashing roms through recovery? Do I need to wipe? And I also heard something about a module do I need that?

The best way to flash the uncapped is right after you flash a nightly, then you won't have to worry about wiping Davlik cache and cache again.

Nandroid;)
boot into recovery
Wipe davlik cache and cache
Flash nightly
reboot
boot into recovery
flash uncapped kernel
reboot

Then use oc widget or setcpu to adjust the frequencies for your phone

you can't flash the kernal with the nightly at the same time without rebooting?

To be honest, I have never tried it that way. As I have never experienced bootloops doing it the way I wrote (so I continue doing it this way). Then again, I'm sure you can do both in recovery, but do a nandroid first;)

Where can I find the "module remover" that I must flash prior to flashing 710 kernal to improve speed on Fresh Rom? Looked all over but can't find. Thanks in advance!

dont need to do all that, just
boot into recovery
Wipe davlik cache and cache
Flash nightly
flash uncapped kernel
reboot

thats what i was told to do, do it all in the same recovery session

Since I've done it the same way since Dec released the uncapped kernels without incident, I'll continue the other way.

I don't think either is right or wrong though:)

Ok so does the kernel have to match up to a nightly or anything? or can any kernel work with any nightly?

I'm currently running nightly 9/15 and I got OC widget but i havent flashed a kernel yet.
so do I have to use a certain kernel for that particular nightly?

Any uncapped kernel will be fine, I suggest the #14

Can you flash the same nightly over again or does the wipe get rid of it?

You can just flash the same nightly over again and you will have the stock kernel. Then flash the uncapped kernel, wipe Davlik cache and cache before you flash though
