We are still waiting for froyo over here. We were supposed to be getting the x5, but now cricket has announced the ascend 2. I'm so pissed. I want the x5 that is a sweet phone. All I can tell you to do to look for 2.3.3 is do some google searching. sorry

at the moment theres no update to 2.3
I have found Chinese forums that are talking about 2.3 ROM s coming out but since i cant read Chinese i'm using Google translate and not sure about the accuracy of that.

hey..

i would like to find overclocked kernel (as far as i know kernel is responsible for hardwere configuration). i 've heard that our CPU that is running with 800Mhz is actually made for 1Ghz but they underclocked it for longer battery duration...

i saw that setCPU software on android market to overclock the processor (in our case to normaly clock it but is not for free. so i wanted to instal new kernel that is set to 1Ghz...

I need some help if some one can help me out ??



I HAve Ideos X5 u8800 and i want to install oxygen Rom to my Cell i have rooted my cell but when it goes to android system recovery
apply update from sdcard then i choose the zip file of oxygen rom its say's:

finding update package...
opening update package...
verifying update package...
E:failed to verify whole-file-signature
E:signature verification failed
Installation aborted.


How i can install or what does it mean signature verification failed ????

Can anybody help me please
