Root Kernels..questions

So Ive never really gotten into kernels before, so Im curious. I hear a lot about Slayhers 1.2 ??? Right now i have UD 2.4 gingerbread and i love it. So i think with this kernel it will make it run that much better. Any insight? Where and how can i get slayhers best kernel with no bugs? Any help is appreciated thanks!

If you want a higher clock speed on UD 2.4 then just go to 1 ghz because you really don't need that much speed with this rom. And kernels don't really fix bugs. I'm not sure if that's what you were implying.

I prefer chevyno1's kernels (Index of /froyo/kernels3) im currently running 1.25ghz ulv and have never had a problem. Also runs pretty cool, and has decent battery life.

I have used at least one of each of those choices and all work very well. I seem to get the best battery life with Chevy's though so thats what i stick with now
