Thanks, probably the most simple question I've asked so far: what's the difference between EL26 and EL29? You advised me to use EL26, but I took your advice and watched the installation video for cm 10.1 and he was using EL29. Just asking does it matter which one? Is 26 they're way to go or is it up to me? Lastly, you recommended I use ICS modem FL24 I believe. In the video he was on FI27. He stated that was the newest ICS modem but that was back in January. I assume fl24 is the way to go as it seems like it's newer. Those questions seem legit so I hope it doesn't trigger any frustration. But I TRULY appreciate you taking the time out of your life to assist me. After this I should be about good to go
 
final question i swear to god lol. i can flash the fl24 .exe file from the el26 recovery right? i guess what im asking is i can flash a .exe file from recovery right and does anybody know if i HAVE to do mms fix on cm 10.1 wilds do the night?

Anything to do with odin must be in downlosd mode pwr plus vol down if you use a zip for flashing it then cwm is for you

Yes you have to do the mms fix for anyrom that is not boost stock

The exe is the self flashing file fit windows. You want the fl24.zip to flash in recovery. In el26 flash cm10.1,boot into cm10.1,then reboot into cwm(it installs with cm10.1) and flash fl24.zip,flash the boost MMS fix, flash gapps. If you need any files my Dropbox has everything for installing cm10.1 on our device

so that generates a question, what exactly can i do with this

you said its a self flashing file to fit windows? so there is a .zip version, can you link me to your dropbox? now as to the mms fix, i real ALOT of the pages on the cm 10.1 wild for the night rom page at xda last night and i saw some posts where it listed a detailed mms fix (also listed in the one stop shop) involving APN and changing settings, the .zip flashable mms fix was mentioned and one guy said it doesnt work. My question is is the flashable .zip mms fix what you use when you flash roms. The apn method seemed simple enough i just dont like tweaking things im not familiar with. so a more direct question is are you SURE the flashable .zip mms fix will fix mms on most roms, most notably (for me) cm 10.1 wild for the night. thank you for helping me too
