Root Kernels - What do they do?

I used Advanced Task Killer to close all. Also tried Quad after a reboot and cold restart.

I think you jinxed me. jk.

I ran Quad and got a 1854! But it went to 2600+ after that, then 2284+, then back up to 2700+.

Quadrant is weird. What I did notice, when I got the lower score, the CPU testing did not run. It said 0/12 then immediately started the I/O testing. All the higher scores, Quad ran all the tests ran fine. But like I said, since I didn't notice a change in how my gtab runs, I'm not gonna worry about it too much.
