Root Kernels?

Hey guys, I've recently gone from my fascinate to an incredible. I've already rooted and the whole 9 yards (7th phone I've done all this on), but I was wondering what the best AOSP ROM compatible kernel for battery life and performance is? I've searched around here and xda and not found much info, but I've toyed around with a couple of different ones, and they've been kinda disappointing :(
For reference, I'm running CM6.
Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Kernels are trial and error, what works on some peoples phone may not work on yours.... But in general invisiblek's kernels seem to be what most people are reporting good things about.

i used invisiblek #21 on CM 6.1, good battery life, maybe better than what i got on stock sense. Lots of people have had success with it though.
