Help Key pad does not respond

I have an Inspire 4G..While on a call that requires a pin number(calling a bank) the number keys do not respond...Is there something I don't have set properly

Hello....I am a new user...The keypad is not responding when you are on a call and need to enter a pin number(calling a bank)..The number are not getting recognized..I see the on the screen but it sames to not be sending tones...Do I have one of my setting set incorrect...Please assist

I had a similar problem once and a reboot fixed it... what troubleshooting steps have you taken?
