Accessories Keyboard and Mouse Working!

I have a Galaxy Tab (T-Mobile). Yesterday, I got a Freedom Pro bluetooth keyboard and a Micro$oft bluetooth mouse. Both paired up and work good with the tab. I did discover that, when you want to use both, it's best to connect the mouse first, then the keyboard. Some of the "special keys" on the keyboard don't work....most annoying..."Home and End". I plan to email the Freedom Pro folks about this.

The Freedom Pro keyboard is really nice. It comes with a leather (well, at least, it looks like leather) carrying case and is very portable. I was also pleased to find that I was able to use it with my PS3...no more on-screen keyboard! The Micro$oft mouse also comes with a carrying case.

Glad to hear that you have that working. Im on Verizon and they are notorious for BLOCKING things like Bluetooth HID and things of that nature. Can anyone on a Verizon Galaxy Tab confirm that this works?

If so im going to go buy this thing as soon as I get the news that it works!
 
Unlocked International Tab (With AT&T logo): Everything works! MS Mobile bluetooth keyboard 6000 and Kensington slim blade trackball mouse.

Ok ok, so it's not -really- an International Tab... However, considering that the hardware is EXACTLY identical to the international version, and considering that I've got the international firmware running on it, and carrier unlocked it, and basically removed any trace of AT&T shackles (apart from the logo), yeah, it's an International Tab for all intents and purposes ;)
 
Root your tab, it should work on Verizon.

Update: no, you can't...not even if you rooted your tab. I did however read that the latest Verizon update should let you now use your bluetooth keyboard.

With sprint, I read flashing it to another rom may work.
 
I bought the Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile Keyboard 6000 long time ago to use it with my laptop while it is on the dockstation. When I bought my tablet I gave it a try and it works! Actually it recognized it right away. Mine is the GT 10.1 from Verizon, model # SCH-i905 (32GB, Wi-Fi and 4G). It might not be as portable as the one made for the tablets but it works for me; I wonder if Microsoft has something better now with all the tablets available now. I have a small Swiss Army backpack that I use to carry the tablet, the keyboard, and other accessories. One more thing, I haven't root my tablet. Hope this helps!
