Help Keyboard annoyance

I've been getting annoyed for sometime and just curious if its only me having problems with the MTs keyboards.. I will start out by saying that I have the gingerbread keyboard from the market that I use, and not the factory default.

My problem that I see on a daily basis when texting or what ever I need to use it for is radom keys getting pressed when my fingers are no where near those keys, like I'll be trying to press delete, and it will delete 1 character but add a b and v .. and sometimes I'll type an L and get lg and go to press delete and it wont delete but just add bs

I also noticed I cannot type to fast with this phone or it will skip over characters like when I type haha sometimes it'll just end up being a or aha.

Does anyone else experience anything like this, or does anyone have any possible solutions for my problems I'm having?

Yep happens to me all the time. The way you can get, a bit better touch accuracy and such is by downloading and installing Whyzor's newest cm7 reloaded with kernel if you haven't already...
 
Have you tried any other keyboards? There are alot too choose from.
Swiftkey X, Ultra, SlideIT, Smart Keyboard PRO, GOkeyboard, Swype, just to name a few.
I use Swiftkey X and have absolutely no problems/complaints with it.
 
I also use Swiftkey X and have had zero problems with anything like the OP is describing.

Do you have the same issues with the stock keyboard? It could be the app, or it might be your screen.
 
I think its more like if your typing fast enough and accidently put both fingers on the screen for a second the axis snap together and goes to a totally different key, cuz I have had that problem with swiftkey x, before... So its more of a touchscreen issues, not keyboard issue.
 
I am giving swiftkey a try.. I don't have my phone rooted so the cm7 probably wouldn't be for me
 
I have the same problem, had it on my old phone too. I find that my issue is caused when there is moisture on the screen. Turn off the screen whipe it, go on.

Yup I use Miui with austries kernal and sweaty paws are a nightmare happens to me often whipe them off :3 or the screen it sucks I know
 
i agree with marc128... root your phone and install the cm7 reload or the froyocream they are IMO way better than stock and are overclockable and just faster and way more responsive in all aspects even without being overclocked
 
I have lots of problems with something that goes like this
Hey.how.is.every. one Tod.ay
That period kills me I guess since it's right next to the space . This happened lot with the gingerbread keyboard I downloaded go keyboard and it has stop but I find the go keyboard to be smaller not practical more for looks . Some time you have to look at the key's to hit them correctly if you don't you'll accidently send gibberish text messages:)
 
with swift keys I am noticing none of these now.. all I have to do is get used to how it works.. but I really like it so far
 
I use swiftkey x, but I still have the same problems.

Its all mainly because their is not enough space between each of the keys.Their is actually no space at all between keys just a line seperating them.

I still don't know why their arn't better virutal keyboards out by now.
