Root Keyboard FC after Odex Velocity 1.0

I just odexed using the awesome scripts in Velocity 1.0 and I have more space but I keep getting force close for Android keyboard (process com.android.inputmethod.latin)
I uninstalled Android keyboard and now I get force close for the Gingerbread keyboard
Dammit!
I (once again) forgot to do a nandroid nackup. :(

I tried wiping cache and dalvik cache. No help there.

Any suggestions from the most helpful forum on the planet?

**I tried running the LGMU and "updating is not possible any longer due to a fatal error while the LG mobile phone update". That doesn't sound good!**

Just reflash Velocity, now that you had velocity you can just reflash Vel 1.0 from recovery

A few days ago I would have said I am awesome at this sort of thing, but clearly I am NOT bc I can't figure out how to do what you just said via the recovery menu...

Walk me through it?! (I just told you, I'm a moron!)

Thank you for your patience! :o

**I tried changing my recovery from AmonRA to Clockwork...When I try to boot into Clockwork recovery I get a blue screen that says 'Fastboot mode started udc_start()' and I can't seem to do anything.**

Bigggg mistake trying to flash clockwork over amon-ra. Try a battery pull and go back into rom manager and reflash amon-ra. Clockwork is not recommended on the Ally. The only way to fix your fc issue is a reflash of the rom as far as i know. Maybe someone else knows something i dont about that.

NO ONE SHOULD FLASH CLOCKWORK MOD AS A RECOVERY!!

I hate Clockwork. I can't get it to stick anyway which may be a blessing in disguise...

I put AmonRA back on and will reflash the ROM asap.

Reflashed, keyboard issue resolved.

**In my search for directions on how to properly flash a ROM I came across an old post from GRZLA in which you seem PRO Clockwork... Did something bad happen? C'mon, you can tell the forum ;)**
