Help keyboard issues

I am having a keyboard problem. It started with Slideit demo and within a few hours it switched to the default and I am unable to switch to other keyboards. I am on a HTC Thunderbolt

try Menu>settings>Language & keyboard - The different keyboards that are installed should be listed there if so simply click the one you want to use.

I actually noticed this too. Under "keyboards", I only see SlideIt and SwiftKey X on my phone. I don't see the Android stock keyboard. If I uncheck both keyboards, it defaults to SwiftKey X. I wouldn't mind having the stock keyboard back, but I never use it so no biggie. I love the whole Swipe/SlideIt concept. If you do find a solution to bringing back the stock keyboard, please post :)

I stand corrected, it was the android stock keyboard that was on default and not SwiftKey when I unchecked both SlideIt and SwiftKey. The weird thing is I couldn't get SlideIt to come back on. I tried everything so I just had to uninstall and reinstall all my keyboards and now I have SlideIt back. Oh well, not touching my keyboard settings again. SlideIt makes it easier to text one handed. Does anyone know if Swype is up and running on the TB? I used to have it on my og droid and I know you can put it on your TB, but it had some issues.
