Help Keyboard issues...

I have been using SWYPE instead of the stock keyboard, and once a day, I cannot get the keyboard to come up to type/swype on! It comes back after re-starting the phone... any ideas?

Sorry to hear you are having a problem with your keyboard. We need to know a few things in order to better assist you-

-Are you rooted? -If so details please
-Do any of the other keyboards work after swype fails to launch?
-Is this on one app, or all apps?
-What version of Android are you running?
-Have you completed a hard restart?

1. From the home screen, press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons for approximately 10 seconds until the device turns off.
2. Release the Power and Volume up buttons and wait for the device to turn back on again.

-What version of swype are you running
-Did you install any apps recently?


Just a few questions so we can get started and solve your issue!

I would try clearing Swype's cache/data. This guide for the Yahoo app lists the steps, just choose swype instead of yahoo app of course
