I dont know if somehow i downloaded a virus or what but when ive tried to use my phone today when i text if i hit the space the keyboard dissapears or it will do that while i type. the letters appear about 1 every 3 seconds too.... Do i need to completely reset my phone... and if so how do i do that???

That also happened to me. I think I went into Settings/Applications/Multi touch keyboard and cleared the data from it and haven't had any problems since. Good luck!

Just cleared the learned words and it fixed mine as well! I suggest trying this!

Seems like there are a number of various solutions. Clearing the data alone didn't work for me. Check out this thread for more of them: Droid X Keyboard Issues. All is good now!
