Help Keyboard Loads Slowly after 4.1.2 update?

My keyboard loads really slowly (like 5+ seconds) in some apps sometimes after the update. I use swype, I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling. Does anyone else have this problem, or know any way to fix it?

It is extremely frustrating.

Mine recently just started doing this and I'm thinking it may have to do with some other installed keyboards since it wasn't happening before I added more.

I hate to say it but I think a factory reset may be required here. Did you perform one after the update to 4.1.2? In terms of smooth performance, maximized battery life, and preventing strange bugs (like this), it is generally a good idea to do the reset after an OTA pushed software update.

Mine is doing exactly the same thing. Its very annoying. I guess I have to bite the bullet and do a factory reset.

I did the factory reset, and it did solve this problem, as well as a Mail sync issue I was having.

If anyone who is non rooted wants a reliable backup app prior to doing a reset, try Helium. Its easy to use and got me back to where I was with very minimal effort. The easiest reset and re sync I ever did.
