Help Keyboard slider backlight

Any way to adjust the time for the back light on the slide out? Sometimes it just seems to short.

This was asked before, and I think the answer was "no". Someone had a good idea though, which is what I do. I just run my thumb over the optical mouse thing and the keyboard lights back up. Not an ideal fix, but at least it works.

Another way is to tap the camera button. Not all the way though, just a tap.
