Keyboard Tone

[eragon25]

I cannot figure out how to disable the tone when I am typing on the qwerty keyboard (like typing out a text). Can anybody tell me how to do this?

There should be a symbol on your keyboard. I use the android keyboard that came with cyanogenmod 7, smart keyboard pro and the LG ime keyboard and all 3 have a settings button on them.

Nope, no settings button on the keyboard. I'm just using the standard android keyboard that came on the phone.

What about settings> language & keyboard. I haven't used the stock keyboard since may 8th which is the day I rooted. But this is a simple enough problem

DOH! Thank you! I didn't even think of looking under the language and keyboard settings. I was focusing on the sound and message settings and just couldn't find it.
