Help Keyboard turns blue

Hi everybody,

I have an evo 4g and sometimes out of nowhere my keyboard will turlln blue. Sometimes it'll just be like a faded blue tint around the outside of the keyboard and sometimes its the whole thing. I'm new to the site but ive found it to b very helpful so far. Thanks.

it turns blue? weird. are you rooted? i do not think i have heard of it. what keyboard are you using?

Exactly the same behavior, just started in the last week. Sometimes part of it, sometimes all of it goes blue. Phone is not rooted/modified. So far, it doesn't seem to affect function, and the color change doesn't happen on any other display.

Does anyone have an answer as to why the touch screen turns blue in messages? Sometimes it's partial, faded and other times it's the whole screen...does not seem to affect function and the phone is only 1 month old!

When I shut the phone completely off (in the process of changing batteries) and turned it back on, the blue keyboard display went away. While observing it now, it is clear that the blue tinge that was on the entire keyboard is the same one that sometimes appears on the Swype key when it is changing states. I guess the bug is with the code that controls display of the Swype key, and whatever it is reverted to its normal state with a complete shut down.

I had the same problem. Shut down your phone and take the battery out. This resets the phone to original settings. Should get rid of the problem.
