Help keyboard won't work anymore

Oh! Thank you. The driver is installing now.

Will that file I did execute from the incorrect link be a problem? Is there anything I need to do to undo it?

I shall let you know how things go this time.

From a little bit more reading on the Odin thread, I see that this fix makes the phone rootable. I don't really want/need it to be rooted (since I can barely make the phone function as intended let alone try to do stuff to it myself!!). Is it still going to be usable as it was from our purchase date? I just want it to function as intended when we bought it. I did see that when one person allowed an update to happen, then it unrooted the phone.

Nope... That is for using the computer with command prompt to interact with the phone

You can just delete it, it didn't actually install anything, just briefly displayed the command prompt window (i know, prolly Greek, I'm Sry) lol

This is the unrooted version, and will function as it came out of the box :)

It worked, it worked, it worked!! Thank you! Now I just have to get his email set up again and we should be good to go.

I'll be back if I have any more questions.

THANK YOU!

Hey Congrats!

Good to see you got everything sorted out. Remember if you have any more problems just drop back by and ask, someone will be more than happy to try to help!

Got his email set up and synced. Things seem to be working well. The Gmail app and the Voicemail app are back and screens all look like they did.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! You were a lifesaver!

I can rest easy now getting ready for our move Saturday.

God bless as you make your move to Syracuse!

I'm actually only here on business:p but thank you just the same

Well, safe travels back home then when it happens. Glad you don't have to physically come to my rescue, I was beginning to think that's what would be needed.

And it all was the Samsung drivers that was the issue. I'm surprised there wasn't more info about that in the post with the Odin directions that you originally linked for me. Of course, maybe most people on these forums are a little more techy than we are. We need each step spelled out for the most part. As you were witness to! :p
