Keyboards

I hate that when I type I often find the phone has changed some of the words. Has anyone found a way around this or a keyboard that doesn't do this? Also, the keys are very small and would like a keyboard that offers larger ones. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use a keyboard kk keyboard and it works fine for me, for larger keys I would suggest swiftkey, you can change the size to really small to really really large and everything in between. It is a paid app but they have a trial version you can use to test out.

I used it for a while on my avid but on this phone it seems a little slower than my fingers can type.

Yeah I've tried swiftkey on lower end handsets and noticed how it'll lag.

But I posted the above from you mentioning the trial and paid version.

I prefer the beta version since you get a taste of what the paid version gets in future updates.

.... And it's free :D

I tried the swiftkey free version a while back on the advice of my daughter. She likes it so much she bought the premium version. All I got was garble, which was actually pretty funny. Needless to say, I removed it immediately.
I don't like that Google censors what I type, so I stick to the Android keyboard that comes with the phone. However, I constantly get these popup messages asking me to select which keyboard I want.
