Yes and yes. However ive not used odin before and think I can wait for it to come on kies.

Whaaao!!! Im late lol. Ive been usin odin all the time so far and its great . Im going to flash.....nooooow . Hope its a good fix. U herd anything about it?

You got a link to download odin? Ive heard its supposed to make it faster and improve battery life, but thats what said every firmware, so we will see.

very true but i dont think its avaliable on the GS2 just yet..... but i may be wrong but odin is just 2 clicks .

Is this an official update or one a Dev made? If it is by a Dev it wont be on Kies.

This thread shows you how to root your SGS2 [15.06.2011][CF-Root v4.0] KE2/7/8, KF1 - su+bb+CWM4 - xda-developers and doing it this way results in the installation of the Clockwork Mod which you can use to flash your kernel easily and avoid the annoying yellow triangle as well.

brighter whites . thats all ive seen so far tbh but i flashed bk to KE7 because it kept on rebooting every 15mins !!!

Weird... I'm on Lite'ning which has just been updated to F1 and I don't have this problem. I can't really tell about the whites... Look the same to me...

I have however noticed that the stock messaging app seems to no longer have changeable themes. It just has one. A nice one, and I don't think it was there before the update. Though I may be wrong, this could be a dev added thing....

Battery life seems much better than KE7.
