KF3 Firmware Upgrade

Has anyone done the KF3 upgrade that's just been made available through Kies yet? Notice any big improvements?

What region are you in? I am based in the UK and don't see any upgrade notification - it still says KE7 is the latest.

If KF3 doesn't fix the wifi sharing bug/battery drain and random music playback issues I'll sell this phone.

I'm in the UK on unlocked O2 SGS 2 and I'm waiting on upgrade too, but nothing yet.

Not too fussed though as I don't have any issues with the phone right now, including the wifi sharing or android os bug.

Lucky you. Things started out so well with this phone, but nothing seems to fix the wifi sharing but and the music playback/poor headphone button response issues at all. It's a real shame because this is a killer phone...

poor headphone button response issue? not sure what you're referring to.

as a rooted user, i removed all of the wifi sharing apps so not an issue there for me. also KF3 has no improvements over KF2.

Kies will only say you have an update going from your original territory firmware to the next. in other words, KF3 wasn't for your territory.

I'm in New Zealand but this phone was parallel imported from India so my guess is that KF3 has been releasd for India. I have had no issues with phone so far and am getting a full day of battery with reasonably heavy usage so I'm a bit cautious moving to a newer firmware.
