Hi I am hoping some can help me please!?
Yesterday i thought i would do a back up on my sgs2 ics 4.0.4 as ive not backed up for a while!
Everything worked a treat and my phone was backed up to my laptop.
Today i had my laptop on and i decided to plug in my phone to charge it!
When i plugged in my phone windows asked me if i wanted to open the files on the phone but i just closed the dialogue box as i didnt want to do anything with it! then Kies started to open on its own as it did so i got an error message saying " this device is not supported by kies 2.0 make sure that your device is supported and try again! " and it will not connect to my phone!
I unplugged and tried again and got the same message i also went through trouble shooting mode and reinstalled the drivers and rebooted my laptop still no connection i also rebooted my phone and changed usb cable still get same error message and still no connection!
I have not changed any settings since yesterday on my laptop or phone and i really dont understand why it wont now connect but it connected fine yesterday!
I tried turning usb debugging on and off to see if that kick started it but still no joy!
I am baffled!!!!
Can anyone shed any light on how to fix this problem please?
I have read lots of posts on this forum and tried lots of different things and its getting annoying now that it will not connect!
