Kies and att

Has anyone updated or even got Kies to work for att Tab. I have had no luck. This is also my 1st android device. Thanks

Nothing to report at this point... several days invested trying different applications (Kies, NPC) and attempting different techniques to root the device.

I'm bummed nobody has figured this out by now!

See the following link. I just rooted my Tab today and it worked great. Will note I did attempt to connect to Kies but that seemed to have failed. I think the only purpose for Kies was to install the USB drivers on your pc. Tried to get Kies to successfully connect multiple times but failed. Decided to skip to step 2 and all worked from there. Good luck
