kies can't started

i just have samsung galaxy Y
and i install samsung kies from the box
after i install it, ican't open it, ihave this notification and program closed

Have you tried right clicking Kies, go to properties and you will have compatability mode and try the other ones and see if it works.

Try creating a new account on your PC and try installing Kies and see what happens?

i download Kies_2.1.1.11124_17_6 and still won't work
i already admin in my pc

i already reinstall kies in new account, but nothing happen still same

i installed fresh a fresh copy, the latest, to another computer... and guess what? apps is not even there.

my old computer that i used shows only bada phones...

what do you mean its not even there? you have installed it in other pc but after installation, kies is not there?

@jayem: my last reply was something connected with my previous post. and my bad, i was not paying attention with the OP / thumb, sorry TS. i was reading this:

let me clarify TS,

kies is required to download samsung apps from the samsung appstore using your computer. you require a wifi connection or reverse tethering to download android apps from the android market (and some other workaround i havent tried yet i think).

kies works fine on both my computers and already upgraded the firmware to 2.3.6... what i meant was the appstore.... it shows on my old pc(and wont recognize my y) and is not available in the new pc. it is futile to install kies if accessing the samsung appstore your main goal of installing it.
