Help Kies...Grrr......

Downloaded, installed, connected. Couldn't find my hardware ID. Ran the troubleshooter. Reconnected. My PC sees it (it's in my Safely Remove list) but the control panel in keis is just spinning and spinning (45 minutes now, while I was doing other tasks).

Any tricks to getting this software to see my device?

This software is not worth wasting your time. Just wait for that update for a day or two. Leave your tablet connected to WiFi overnight.

I found something similar. When I load up Kies, it takes up 100% cpu time doing something unknown, so it doesn't get around to what I want it to do (eg connect to the device).

Something seriously wrong with it.

Reconnected this morning and this time, after about 5 minutes, it connected to my Note and I was able to download the JB update. No idea what the issue was. I connected the Note to my USB port, then launched Kies. Maybe i had to do it in that order?

At any rate - done.

I was having the same issue with Kies last night. Wont be able to play until later tonight
