Help Kies not working properly?

Hi Ppl,
Im having a problem with Kies, although i can do every-thing with contacts, calendar etc etc.
Kies doesnt see my Sandisk 16gb micro card and according to Kies the i5500 doesnt support phone browsing, So via Kies i cant view any-thing on my phone or memory card. I formatted my memory card and tried seeing it before and after mounting, still nothing.
Id really appreciate any help/ideas.
