Just installed Kies to phone and PC. Went to check if any updates were there and it says GT N 7000 does not support initializing. What the hell does that mean ??? Also, is Kies really slow, because it takes ages to show any of my data. And also, when i get it to come up with my music list, it shows all this stuff from my apps. And and also, i thought i could connect the phone to the PC by using wifi,but it says my computer does not have wifi. Didn't think any computer has wifi. I have also found that loading things onto my phone from computer is quicker and simpler by just opening my phone on the comp and drag and drop. Is this normal ?? Why even have Kies and i thought the phone does auto updates via wifi, so why do i have to use kies to get the ics update. Thanks for any help you can give.

If Kies is slow, might be you need a new computer? Kies on mine is pretty fast (although I do have i5 and 4GB RAM).
Your computer doesn't have WiFi, so of course your phone can't connect to it via WiFi. PC's can have WiFi if it has the proper hardware installed, like a WiFi card.
Also, did you install Kies on your PC or Kies Air? There's a whole lot of difference.

I get a message saying GT-N7000 does not support initialization.
And all the computers I use Kies on have Core i7s with at least 6 GB RAM and Windows 7 64-bit.
