Help Kies says KE2 is latest firmware

I just received my new S2, installed Kies, and plugged in the phone. It sees the phone, and shows KE2 firmware, but when I check for updated firmware it says KE2 is the latest.
Any suggestions on how to get it to update to KE7

There's a thread in the Galaxy S II forums (Android Development section) on xda-dev.com that provides links to download KE7 firmware and the odin software you'd use to flash it.

I flashed ke7 this morning and it was very easy... just follow the instructions in the 1st post:

geekaren thanks for your reply. I updated to KE7 using odin, and that link you posted. After installing all the drivers it worked a treat.

If I'm on 02, do I have to use the O2 version or can I use any stock one?
