Help kies since 2.3.6?

Has anyone else had problems with kies since 2.3.6? I just got the phone update cause my phone is so new, and I just tried to sync my outlook calendar, which worked before, and no luck. syncing my contacts worked fine. Help!

First time I tried after the update, it wouldn't connect, then after another attempt, it connected but just sat there. I turned the phone on and off, and since then its been connecting and synching fine.

thanks indydave, I tried that but no luck. I can't figure out what's going on with this... it says "preparing to sync" but never does....

I will add this, I can't and never could get wired Kies on my desktop to recognize the phone, no matter what I try. WiFi works fine. I have to do it on my laptop, or the "spare" desktop. Probably because this thing is older and has been tweaked time and again... I run into that problem with lots of specialty hardware communications software. You may want to try another computer, just for the hell of it.

It's funny (well, not really), but I just used Kies on my wife's phone (2.3.6) today for the first time and the computer and phone sync'd up perfectly the first time.
