Help Kies wont complete backup

[npa]

Trying to backup S4. Kies gets part way through then just hangs whirring around. Tried 3 times to complete. No joy. Any help out there? Thx

Hi,
I had same issue about a month ago.
Solved itself I guess, because now it works!!!
No ideas. See if there's an update for Kies.

Question, is Kies even nessary since google backs up all contacts, apps, and photos/videos?
I guess we could say redundancy is a good thing. Just wondering
Ciao,
