Help Killed my phone... need to recover data...

Hi all,

I have a 2 and half year old HTC desire, last week while i was taking a shower I must have got a phone call or something because my dog chewed it to death.

When she did it, the touch screen would not work, but now neither does the touch screen or the actual LCD work.

The rest of the phone works, but i had the mode where when the USB is plugged in charge up sellected...

This means I can't get my data off the phone as it just charges and i can't get the data via USB

Is there a way to force the phone into disc drive mode?

Disk drive mode just mounts the SD card on your computer - it doesn't give you access to the internal memory. So if you remove the card and put it in a microsd card reader (they cost a few

It was my contacts I was after more than anything

I always saved them to my gmail account but when going into my google contacts they were not there, i never sync'ed them... so thats useless

I'll just have to accept they are gone I think thanks anyway
