I have an HTC DESIRE phone with current system firmware: 2.13.720.2 CL274424 release keys. It is on android 2.2
Recently I downloaded the voice recording application by Killer Mobile "total recall" (android version) from the killer mobile site The version which I downloaded was a 14 day trial version which can be later registered by paying the license fee for it. The application worked fine during the evaluation period.On completion of the trial version when I tried to activate the registration, the application would not initiate. the application would flash for a second and then disappear with the message "an error occurred"
To rectify the problem I did the following steps.
1. Rebooted the phone and tried to activate again. No success.
2. I went to the settings->applications and then manage applications where I removed the downloaded application. After removing it I installed it again but no success again.
3. I did a factory reset of the phone and installed the application. But no success.
4. I did a reset involving the following procedure>
a. shut down the phone
b. press the volume button followed by the power button
c. finally do a clear storage.
d. On completion I again installed the application with no luck.
I install the application through the HTC syn utility.
Can anyone advice me what more I need to do to make the application run again.
