Root King BFS #2

after battery wipe, my stats are as follows:
Up Time: 16:22
Awake Time: 1:48
Battery Level: 74%

That is exce;;ent! I have similar results on bfs2 I'm at 65% 2 1/2 hours awake 17 hours up and using the 1500 bidallies HTC battery for $14.

BFS2 with setcpu is blowing me away :D

I am back to using bfs 1. But one thing I noticed (like the other poster) is that even though my quadrant scores and stuff are though the roof other things are not as responsive on the phone.

For instance when moving apps around my home screen sometimes they take a while to be placed on the screen when I let go of them. I am on ADW btw.

Can anyone else test this out on their phone using these kernels?

Are you using setcpu? I noticed on bfs2 it was stock set to "conservative" scaling and this did cause an initial lag. IMO because of the way the kernel scaled at the stock config (cpu would slowly ramp up and down not instant like ondemand). When I got setcpu last night and changed it to ondemand and made some profiles the thing flew.

I'm new to all this root, oc'ing etc...I must say though after my first day with bfs2, virtuous 2.5 and my 1500mah battery I'm at 40% after 24hrs up 4.5 hours awake and I'm ecstatic!

Just switched to BFS #2 and it doesn't seem much different from #1. The charge time was a bit slow for me, even when plugged into the wall. I'll have to give it a few days to really get a feel for it.

only thing so far is its hard to charge the phone while wifi tethering this one... its get way hotter than the other kernels and reboots sometimes

My Incredible has always run on the hot side since I got it so I haven't noticed it being any hotter with BFS#2. Note that I work in a warehouse (as an electronics tech) and the temps in here average in the high 90s/low 100s. When I'm home with AC, haven't had a problem.

King says the next release should have faster charge times and offer better battery life. Coming soon.

Disregard my last problem turns out the lag was from a live wallpaper not the kernals.

Anyway looking forward to bfs #3 sounds like we should get it soon.

I dont like this kernal, i have the 2150 battery, i unplugged my phone at 8pm last night, i work graveyard, i have it on airplane mode from 11-7 listened to about an hour of music after work, light web browsing, minimum texting. at %17 battery???????????????/

So last night i reverted back to stock kernal, no new updates, same rom. Unplugged my phone at 8pm again, airplane mode from 11-7, listened to music for an hour on my bus ride to work. Played Replica Island for 30 minutes on my trip home, while listening to music. My battery is at %43.... Yea Fail....

At my work I get a low reception in certain parts of the building and the phone seems to get extremely hot with some of Kings older kernals.

I want to try some of the new ones but I am in no hurry, he sems to be putting out new kernals every week :)

PS thanks king!

Did you reset battery stats? That's highly recommended when switching kernels.

Thank you all.

At least I don't feel too dumb if it was in clockwork.

Btw.

I am on sky 3.0 with bfs2. I just got setcpu but I have been happy. So far. Can't overclock past 1075 without problems though.
