He's on zv5 (Sprint) they don't have a recovery. There is a script you can run to replace kinguser with supersu though but you need the latest version of the zip which is kinda hard to find.If you do what @Bichofelix did here , http://androidforums.com/index.php?posts/7158122
should have full root permissions.
It's because kingroot sucks. Try replacing it with supersuTried all that before posting.

That's what I did just now. Besides, Kingroot has too much bloatware. Good riddance.I bought the Super-Sume Pro and I made the transfer from Kingroot to Super Su, things. run a lot better. If u wanna quick root go threw kingroot then buy that ap and switch to SuperSu .
