I wouldnt hold my breathe waiting on OEMs to update olders devices.


Nad I can confirm the google launcher works on the spirit, but I cant say whats all so great about it. lol I dont really see a diff.

Are you running 4.1 JB or 4.0 ICS ? I believe the launcher only works on 4.1+.

you cant install like an app. you have to manually put it in /system/app

To clarify it doesn't officially run on JB. I know you have CM10 on it. The person who made the thread didn't ask if it ran on CM10, he asked if it ran on the spirit which doesn't have JB.

I tried it both ways. apparently the thread maker was asking about it on CM10 but didn't make that clear.

We need to push these with adb into system apps? I got a parsing error too when trying to install with package installer.

you mean a flashable zip??? Yea that could be done too and others have even done so.
