Kit Kat on GT-I9300

Hi, has anyone managed to install the stock 4.4 OS on a I9300, if so, 1) How did you do it. 2) Does it work ok with the 1Gb of RAM. Phil

Nope. There is no official kitkat for the i9300 mate sorry. Not enough RAM to carry all the new Samsung crap.
I've been using kitkat custom roms for months now on mine (actually getting 4.4.3 in a couple of days) and they're excellent, fast as **** but you lose all Samsung features :thumbup:
(dont try to put US firmware on your s3 or you'll kill it lol)

Yeah even if someone manages a decent port from another phone/version, you'll still have to do the whole root thing and it will run like crap

Can't remember why I asked that lol, probably warranty.. If it's over 2yrs in Europe you have no warranty so may as well root and get some 4.4.3 love on there and a snappy fast phone :thumbup:
