Help Kitkat 4.4 update

I have an international version of note 2 (GT-N7100). I haven't received 4.4 update yet. I live in United Arab Emirates. Should I factory reset my mobile in order to get the update?

No. Updates are issued by the carrier. If your carrier hasn't yet issued the update, they haven't. (If you didn't buy the phone from the carrier, Samsung will issue the update - via wifi - when they get to it.) There's nothing you can do to make them issue it any faster.

If you don't mind risking your phone, you can find a 4.4.2 ROM for your phone on the web (maybe not for a while yet, though) and flash it yourself. (Which might result in your doing something wrong and ruining your phone.) Otherwise just wait until the carrier or Samsung issues the update.
