Help KitKat for Note 3?

When it does come out for the Note 3 I'm in no rush to update. From reading the Nexus 5 stories on Phandroid's main page it seems like only Google apps and services are being updated. Aside from G-mail and the Play store I hardly use the Google apps I have now.

There's actually some pretty big changes under the hood with 4.4

It should improve battery life and security quite a bit

Verizon users: don't hold your breath waiting. We'll get it last, if at all.

I'm excited for 4.4, but even if the update is delayed for a while, the way 4.2/4.3 was delayed on the Note 2 from AT&T, I'll just install a custom rom of 4.4. I believe the user experience will outweigh some of the problems associated with new operating system launches.

the list of phones on that site list arent confirmed, but the flagships devices from most companies SHOULD get the update..

and yes, I look forward to Kit Kat... maybe ill just pick up a nexus 5 instead :confused::)

The caller ID and the photo editor features have changed my mind. Currently it is a paid add-on to my t-mobile plan for Name ID like that and the photo editor reviews are amazing. Plus if nothing else the 4.4 update should fix my Samsung Music player app. It hasn't worked after my first week of using it. I'll be upgrading as soon as it comes out.

I like 4.4 on the nexus 5. Its very smooth and quick to flip about between apps. Should improve battery life as previously said.

However it will be wrapped in Samsung bloat
