Help KitKat for Samsung Galaxy Note 2 ?

Hey all, I bought Galaxy Note 2 and I updated the software and its now on 4.3 . But I want KitKat and I tried updating again , it says it already have the latest update installed.
So, how do I get KitKat on my Note 2 ?

From what I know, if you have the OTA 4.3 update, you have to wait for Verizon to release it. You can't install a custom ROM that uses 4.4.

I am sorry for the question but what is OTA ? I am very new to this android world. and I have VODAFONE SIM in it.

I am from India , so when I will be able to install KitKat ?

OTA is over the air.You will get Kit Kat whenever Samsung decides to release it

I don't think T-mobile has 4g in ND. I'm smack middle in Verizon territory.

If you have a GT-N7100 ie NOT a 4g/LTE model international version you can update manually by downloading the firmware from sammmobile. See here
Samsung rolling out Android 4.4 KitKat update for Galaxy Note II | SamMobile
It requires a PC and software called Odin (available free). I suggest you read up on it rather than rushing in!
