Just a quick warning to UK users after the kitkat update, be warned if you send a text (sms) and insert the smiley faces (emoticons I think they are called) the phone automatically converts it to a picture message (mms) which you are billed separately for outside of your contract. I only discovered this after my partner sent some texts with these inserted and now have a bill a few pounds more than we expected, this only happened after the kitkat update so is a con on the part of Samsung. I rang to complain and they just said it is the new settings and you cant adjust them. Imagine if you had a few kids and they had the same handset each and updated it themselves and you didn't know you would be hundreds of pounds out of pocket, I think this is really sneaky and gonna report them to OFFCOM. Please keep this thread going until they release an update to reverse this con trick
