Kitkat on note2

Last I heard it was 4.3 in November. I have not heard anything directly from Samsung about their Kitkat schedule.

Samsung is staying tightlipped about its KitKat schedule for the Galaxy S4 and Note 3. However, Google has already confirmed that the Galaxy S4 with 4.4 should be coming soon. "Samsung UK will announce rollout plans for Android 4.4 in due course," a spokesperson told ZDNet.

Traditionally they are quick about new updates for their flagship devices tho.

Now that the Note 3 is out, I wouldn't hold my breath for 4.4 on the Note 2. It doesn't mean it won't happen, but I doubt we'll see an official Samsung release. If Samsung does release 4.4 for the S4, it's possible we'll see some dev work to port it over to the Note 2 even if Samsung doesn't. Right now, we're on the short wait for 4.3 which is rumored for the end of this month.
 
Is this a troll thread? Bad information and rumors are becoming rampant with this stuff.

We are anticipating the 4.3 update at the end of this month, but to start speculating about "you heard" 4.4 is unreasonable at this time. It's frustrating to even get an accurate date for 4.3, let alone speculate beyond it.

Problems with 4.3 on S3 let alone sending this update to our Note 2's
