KitKat user with App2SD

So question for you guys that already upgraded to KitKat (non-root)

There have been reports that AirDroid users can move the files on the external SD. This seems to contradict what KK is doing with the external SD card.

So the question I have is, are any KK users using App2SD applications to move the apps to the external SD card? I don't mean moving each app individually, I'm speaking about apps like App2SD that can do this from one app.

Thank you

I don't know who is reporting AirDroid users being able to move files on the external SD, but that is certainly NOT the case for me and many others on the AirDroid forum. I also have WbSharing lite installed. It is experienceing the same issue. If I wish to add or remove files on the SD card, I have to 1) remove the card and complete the task on my PC, or, 2) connect by USB.

Thanks. That's what I figured. Someone had reported that with AirDroid, they were able to move files. I had a feeling they were doing it with the internal storage even though I was explicit about doing it on the external storage. What a pain.

AirDroid is a fine app but it can't perform magic (i.e., override a system restriction). If the app cannot be natively moved, you'll need root access, a second partition on your external sd, and an Apps2sd-type app to accomplish what you want.

I meant "what a pain" due to KK restrictions. I understand the need to try to reign it in, but it's still painful.
