Root Knock knock feature?

No, wont work. LG has to add support for our device, the international F7 didnt get knock on feature with kitkat update so i would assume that we wont either when we get kitkat update although you never know.

Thanks, but that's 💩 we have a good device, lg is dumb for letting us down again... The gps wasn't a deal braker for me or this knock knock, but this will be my last LG phone next time I buy a new device it definitely won't be from a Company that treats it fan base as bad as this

Even though this phone is a "mid-range" device, to LG we are considered the "low end" of the market. They will never, nor will any other oem that isn't Motorola treat us any different than that. Only high end phones get that treatment because those customers are seen as a more sufficient source of funding for them. This phone cost lg about $180 to make and they sell for suggested retail of $300 ( when not on sale). There higher end offerings such as the lg g2 cost about 250 to make but sell for close to 600 of contract. So, on the f7 they make about a 35% sales profit margin, and on the g2 they make about a 55% sales profit margin. That's why we get this treatment. We are valuable to them, but any further servicing beyond the initial sale slices in to their profits, where as with tge higher end phones they can afford to extend further services.

I know that but the newer phones r coming down example one plus oppo, Nexus line blu life... All close in price, that plus the new boost mobile plans...

I'm actually leaning towards the lg g3, im done with midrange phones, gonna buy it unlocked so I can use on the carrier of my choice with no commitment. These cdma carriers can suck it.
