Knocking Live

No audio?! o.O

No I found that strange too. I use it to get video from the jobsites so it serves its purpose for now..

We have been demoing everything we can get our hands on.. nothing is perfect and some have better features than others but no perfect solution..

So far Qik has the lead, believe it or not, with Movicha video a close second

please, OLD McDonald, please tell me why i should try a video program with no audio???? please? what on this earth would i want to SEE but not HEAR?

Well as a consumer probably no value.

For me, I use it to see what is happening on job sites with out having to go there.. For monitoring stuff it is fine, for viewing and talking to techs its hit or miss with out the audio depending on the problem..

suppose to just show whats going on around you...i like to use it when i work ...offshore..if i have signal...works great...butthe knocks are little lightt(quiet)...also works great with my other friends that have iphones..

no audio (ok, lame but not a big deal).
no FFC, that's my draw. They need to focus on the phones that are being marketing for their video chat abilities. Good to see alternatives, but I'll pass until those two are addressed

Amazing on what kind of network?
Knocking works on WiFi and 3G. Not so great on 2G.

Promising, although the Android "demo" was faked.
None of our demos are fake.

In order to achieve sound, our members make a call on speakerphone. That's about to change tho.

Audio and front-facing camera support is coming to the iPhone this week and to Android in the next couple weeks. Knocking launched back in December 09. Front facing cameras are just now rolling out. We're on top of the latest and greatest, but we can't start developing for a phone until it's released.

You guys should really like the new update when it's ported over to Android in the next couple weeks. And we have bigger and better updates planned over the next several months. Don't think video chat. Think live video Twitter.

I just downloaded it yesterday and used it with my homeboy who lives in Puerto Rico. I'm in Cali. It works great. Cant wait for when audio comes out with it

@ Brian@KnockingLive

I gave you thanks for your info but I wish I could have only given you a 1/2 of thanks as you guys are porting to the iPhone first!

eric3316 <- puts head down in shame

I want to think live video chat, not live video twitter.
Thanks Brian@KnockingLive for the info.

It would be cool for a company like yours to allow us to video chat with people on web cams from pc's too.

I've had this from Day 1, since i saw my friends with iphone use it. There are times when sound is not needed.

Bambuser is interesting. I was driving down the interstate broadcasting live to the web. Has potential. Love where all of this is going.

I have found a work around for audio..

If you have 4g, you can call the other party on speaker phone, then knock their phone and have voice and video

We are using it as a temporary solution to test the product, video is excellent on 4g.

Looking forward to the update.
