Root Know what to do with your boost force!

Heres a little write up of what going on with the boost force!


Basic info on phone:

4inch wvga touchscreen
1.5ghz dual core s4 snapdragon processors (same as s3)
1gb of ram
5mp camera with flash
1.0mp front facing camera



DO NOT USE ROM MANAGER!!!!

As of now we DO NOT have any roms for the force! We do have root and custom recovery thanks to totlth, Kraziejedi, kcurtis106


Also because we are running stock rom we are running a odex rom. Meaning any kind of font changer, icon changer, anything that messes with the framework will SOFT BRICK/HARD BRICK your phone(which is why nandroid are so important!!!)



EDIT: Members have reported iFont works with no issue!!! STILL HAVE A BACKUP FOR INSURANCE!

Also when using titanium backup, HAVE A BACKUP READY! so if you delete something your not suppose to then you have a way to have a working phone.




HERES A LIST OF WHAT I DELETED WITH NO PROBLEMS:

mobile id/boost id
boost zone
google books
google magazine
google music
google +
mediashare
any kind of social app preinstalled on phone




I'm rooted, so what to do now?

Really theres not much you can do... you can...

tether your data
get access to your phone system files
move apps to your sd card
speed up your sd card
etc...

Where do we go now?

well we need to find somebody who can build us a rom. We have the main objective covered thanks to totlth, kcurtis106, Kraziejedi again

OR

If somebody can make up a deoxed build of the stock rom, then you could theme and change things freely

As far as cm10, miui, etc... that takes somebody who knows coding and there way around android. So until then not much is going to be done.





But don't worry, im pretty sure in time we will see some development coming this way!

Actually the credit for Root goes to Kraziejedi who was the first to try the method for the Avid from kcurtis106, but I'm sure totlth won't mind credit for it too.

I used iFont to change my fonts,So changing the fonts is possible.

Ok ill update the op. I used some font changer app and i had a soft brick

Yeah I used that one before,And although the reviews say it will brick your phone it didn't mine.
But it didn't have the fonts I wanted.

soft bricked my phnoe just keeps boot looping ... my computer will not recognize the adb interface i dont know if i have the right driver or not anyone know which driver is correct or what i have to do
