Yes, I understand this all too well. I just hope the devs can get it UNlocked. What we have now isn't totally useless ... but it's a far cry from what we had on the OG Droid. That freakin rocked!

Well, I came from the OG and ROM Manager worked like a charm everytime for me, so it not working properly on a Motorola device is completely new to me.

<-noob
I don't see any roms in ROM manager besides cerberus, superuser, and google. I have premium. Is something wrong?
There is no r5oms on rom manager yet but there is this.

I m running it now with no problems.
I installed it and only wiped (formatted) /system and all my apps were undisturbed.
Well, you're really supposed to format almost everything because you're changing ROMs.
Here's a post from RootzWiki that says what you should be doing.
Updating? Just system, cache and dalvik.
Well, I'm a rebel and I'll never ever be any good!

Once things stop working, you'll fix right up.![]()
I was having issues earlier today when I went from 1.1 to 1.2x but I fixed it by wiping system (which I forgot to do) and reloading 1.2x, and all is well. If I was going from stock to a fully custom rom like CM or something I would wipe all, but I understood that unl3ash3d was a decrapified stock, not to diminish it or discredit the developers in any way.
As I said earlier I intended no disrespect to anyone or anything. It is true that there was work that went into the rom, but it wasn't leaps and bounds, not WRT the things I'm interested in. Not to excuse anything, there was a stock-crap rom released the same day. With all the flack I got about not wiping everything, I have since done so and restored my apps from TiBu and I'm having more grief than I did before wiping. I'm sick of all this crap and thinking about having some wine. Copious quantities thereof.
Enjoy the vino!

I have been reading a bunch of post today about tibu and when you restore apps and data it just puts some of the crap back on your phone and can make things worse. From what I can gather you should just restore the apps and not the data. I am sorry if I offended you with the post about following the dev. instructions but I just finished reading a ton of post with people having problems with the rom and most had not wipe all the way. This make the rom and the dev look bad when it was no fault of his own.
Enjoy the vino!
So using TIBU to restore NON System apps + data is a bad idea? I restored all of mine this way and I havn't had any problems yet. I kinda thought that was the point of TIBU. If I didn't need the data I would just re-download all of my apps...
It can be hit or miss. I have restore with no problems and with problems. I do it but understand i might be giving myself a headache in the process.
HuH?!?!
