either way i advise all ppl to avoid their phones. how they make their phones is mediocre and better alternatives are out there. so all in all get another phone since kyocera doesnt even help the end user but the carrier. so this phone will be a lost cause like their other kyocera devices. steer clear from this device

I have had this phone for a couple of weeks, got it after my trusty optimus v died. This is a very capable phone and about the only complaint I have is the sound quality with calls can at times sound like you are talking into a tin can. The phone does not have an ear piece per se but rather the entire screen acts as a conductor for sound, and your tissue transmits the vibration to the inner ear. At times phone calls sound a bit muted, but overall it's not terrible. The phone is truly waterproof out of the box, not need to plug aux hole or anything else. Hopefully there will be some development, this would be awesome with CM 11.
