I have been searching for the official 4.1.2 update from sprint to install it manually but failed to find it ..am stuck on 4.1.1 and baseband L300VPLJ9 any help/leads will be greatly appreciated

Are you running full stock? As in no root/modifications?

btw I was rooted then unrooted

Full stock 4.1.1 no root/mods

You have to ODIN back to stock ics, then let the phone upgrade itself... Then reroot. I just had to do this EXACTLY a couple days ago...

I wiped then odin to stock ics and it upgraded to 4.1.2 horay!
